News Websites built with Drupal (DrupalCon)
September 20th, 2007
I watched an interesting speech at the Drupal Conference Barcelona about newspapers stepping into the online world and their rather ancient methods. Even when using Drupal they’re mostly not taking full advantage of the web 2.0 functionality provided. A couple of positive examples are listed below, one of them being Welt Debatte for which I did the design.
Newspapers and services using the Drupal CMS
- New York Observer
Custom Tagcloud in form of a headcloud
Modules: NodeQueue, Simple Menu, Clone, Primary Term - Rue 89
- Schrijf Trouw
- Idealen Trouw
- Welt Debatte
- US Magazine
- The Onion
- NowPublic
- My Nassau Sun
- Al-Akhbar
Right-to-Left reading? Drupal is flexible - Popsugar
- Indy Moms
- Information.dk
- Tech President
- Jamaica Plain Gazette
Welt Debatte showcased at the Drupal Conference Barcelona
sorry for the bad quality (taken with my mobile phone)
